brian vogelgesangMy name is Brian Vogelgesang, and while it can be an oddly pronounced last-name it wonderfully translates to ‘song of the bird’. I received my first camera when I was 15 and have been fascinated with capturing photos since then.

When we take a photo we can stop time, the essence of a moment right in our hands. My inspiration for taking photos is to capture a piece of time that resonates back to us when we see it again. Some of my best work comes from traveling and seeing a place with fresh eyes. I also find humans to be wonderfully complex and beautiful beings to photograph.

Feel free to share my work as long as there is a link pointing back to the post or site.  If you’re a student or non-profit organization I’d love to license my images for you to use freely if you contact me prior to using it. My work is not to be used for any marketing, or to be sold in any way shape or form without prior consent.
